Have you heard of the Dirty Dozen list?
 
It’s a list that the Environmental Working Group ( EWG ) puts out each year of the foods that contain elevated levels of pesticides… aka GMOs.
 
This list is so helpful because it shows us which foods we should be buying in the organic section.
 
Ideally we want all of our food to be in organic form, but sometimes that doesn’t always happen, and that’s ok. The important thing to remember is that small steps add up to bigger results.
 
So, if you’re just starting out or if you can only afford for a few items to be organic, please reference this list. Save it and pull it out as a reminder before you go shopping, that buying the organic versions of these foods are best for your overall health and well-being.
